London: The City With A Thousand Faces

Four guys who run a site called PRESS PAUSE from Paris and Brussels, released a short video documenting their trip to London. In which they interviewed people in the streets of London to share what they like about their city. Its dope to see kids put together dope things like this, the shots and editing didn’t disappoint either.
My Dad lives in London and a lot of my cousins were born there. Sadly I’ve only been there for an hour which was only at the airport (doesnt really count). Its dope to see how similar the culture in London is to New York. Everyone has ambition, and places they want to go. The only thing that sets everyone aside from NY in this video are their accents and that New York swagger. As much as I love this city, we have to admit that we arent the nicest people. New York raises you to hold your own and be tough. Its true, if you can make it here you can make it anywhere.
This documentary really makes me want to go to London, really a dope piece. I want the Press Pause guys to come to NY so we can listen to Yeezy together. Watch here.

Time Out New York adds Vash to their list of “Most Stylish New Yorkers“. Its super dope to see her get credit for pulling of menswear and making it look so effortless. The article is ill, Vash shares some of her signature clothes and favorite spots to shop among other things. Check it out HERE
Growing up with 3 brothers I was surrounded by boy clothes, I became obsessed with button-ups and t-shirts. I loved the quality and fit of the clothes, my closet can sometimes be mistaken for a boys closet because all of the non-”girly” things I own. My outfits usually consist of dark denim, T-shirt (with a flannel on top), my olive green Stussy jacket (which I’ve worn way too much), some sneakers (usually Vans or my suede Doc Marten buckle boots) and of course a book bag (usually a rucksack bag or my green camo Stussy bag). Clothes are everything to me… I was introduced to Vashtie’s blog years ago, she was the only female who appreciated street wear just as much as I did. She’s always stayed true to who she is and what she likes, which is why she’s one of my idols.
You can be just as productive and successful in sneakers as you can be in a pair of heels. -Vashtie Kola

Every other female artist just becameĀ a little less relevant because M.I.A. is back and at em!
Her video to Bad Girls (WATCH) recently released, and its the epitome of amazing. Finally the Middle East isnt portrayed asĀ oppressed and male dominated, I’ve watched this video over 8 times and love it. The whole setting is so dope, M.I.A. constantly pushes barriers as a female artist, it isnt easy to pull off a video where women and men are covered and dancing around cars. Truly a great artist, glad shes back.

I ordered this from a UK book shop, it decided to show up at my door a month later (today)…. The original book cover folds out as a Supreme box logo Skateboard poster. Im BEYOND excited to read, the book contains interviews and images of both people and vintage Supreme items. I dont enjoy novels but I like books that educate people about street culture. More images, and less words Lol
Everyone who claims to “love” the brand to educate themselves on what makes it such a classic brand.
